The Pre only has a 3G data radio, so will not work with any 4G technology.
That being said, 3G won't go away for a very long time, so the Pre will work
fine anyplace there is 4G deployed because by default they will also have a
3G transmitter at the same location.  I think the EVO is the first 4G phone
being offered by any carrier in the US.
