Finished updating mine about a minute after Craig did. Very zippy!
Now, someone still needs to package all this up with a nice little bow. When I think of the steps I had to go through to get that patch installed, my mind turns to mush. It would be fairly daunting (read: impossible) (*) for a "regular" user. WebOS Quick install, Novawhatever, Developer mode, copying .sh files, running Linux command lines, etc. etc. It's a bit complex, still, but I suppose that makes us the elite, eh? Meh. I, too, would like a straight ahead 1ghz processor. Soon! But this makes WebOS hum in a way no previous Palm update has done. Last time I tried to get MyTether installed and running I was successful, but it seems like every time I do anything I have to go back to the drawing board. SPRINT: get off this and let us Tether!! Trying to inhibit that is the dumbest thing ever!! 800 mhz - Nice! Cheers, Don (*) Favorite line from Star Trek TNG (yes, I'm one of THOSE): Picard: "Things are only impossible until they're NOT" I love that line. Really wish I could just download it via Preware. *sigh* On Sat, Mar 27, 2010 at 12:31 AM, John Messeder <[email protected] <mailto:jmesseder%40comcast.net> > wrote: > That was easy.
