I sent a reply a while back but it did not get through Yahoo. I am syncing
with a cable because my company has exchange locked down. To get to Outlook
Web Access I, first, have to provide a RSA SecurId pin before I am able to
login. I am having a problem now being unable to get 2-way working. I
contacted CompanionLink but still having 2-way issues. Will be contacting them
again Monday.

Why are you trying to sync with a cable, when Exchange server can sync with
the Pre over the air with Exchange Activesync?

  Cheers,

  Don

I think I figured it out. What I did not realize is apparently the
CompanionLink is a 2-step process. First connect the USB cable and synchronize
to the PRE and then after disconnecting the cable synchronize on the phone
itself. CompanionLink does not directly update but, rather, stages the updates.
I suppose there is some logic to this in case the USB transfer runs into
problems.

Ok - I must have something configured wrong. I am unable to get contact
information to synchronize from my Outlook 2007 to my Pre using CompanionLink
with USB cable. Seems same issue exists with calendar.

This is not a standalone Outlook - it is connected to our corporate exchange
servers.
