To change your practice from Tuesday to Thursday, simply open the event and change the date from Tuesday's date to Thursday's date. While you're in there you can also edit the repeat interval and/or day.
Not sure if this is what you're asking, but you can't copy or duplicate a calendar event. (You can't even do that in Outlook!) You can at least open the event (on the Pre or in Outlook) and do a SelectAll > Copy of the main entry, and then paste into a new entry.
