I've mentioned here a couple times about I'd like a check register for
WebOS that would replace the lost Pocket Quicken. But I also have to
agree with the ideas about forcing upgrades. Put in new stuff that will
make me want to upgrade, but don't force me to do it just to make me
pay. So I continue to use Quicken Deluxe 2007 on my PC - tho Quicken has
turned off the download capability I used to use. (Does that mean my
"secure" connection with my bank actually went through a Quicken
server????? Otherwise, what's it to them to leave the thing working?)
And I discovered Pocket Quicken was gone as soon as I received my Pre.
So I', too am hoping someone will come up with a webOS register
that will work well and link to a PC-based package so I can enter
transactions while I'm out and about, and not hae to re-enter them when
I get home.
