Intuit, IMHO is evil. I've watched them gouge for new versions of Quicken by forcing obsolescence on the users features. Quickbooks does the same to the small business owner. I never was too big on their bloated GUI that looked like a kids picture book, more than a accounting tool.
Back on PalmOS, I enjoyed Quikbudget and Accounts & Loans that shared data via a standard developer conduit between the programs. Quikbudget would dispense your take home pay into "wallets" that you debited all your purchases from. Spent your limit in the wallet? Wait till next paycheck. Never bounced a check, or carried a balance on a credit card. Paid off a few houses and cars early. Easy to reconcile and spot bogus charges. I downloaded the developers kit for WebOS, and have been meaning to see what it would take to recreate on a Pre. It didn't play well at the time w/WIndows7 so will have to try again if I can ever make time. Had to buy a Tungsten E2 to run my old software once I got rid of my 680. Would be nice to have it on the Pre.
