I was kinda' figuring it might get non-smartphone users (who don't want to pay
for a data plan) as well as young users (e.g. I had read that Apple hopes to
get tweeners and teens hooked on Apple "koolaid" via the Touch, then upsell
them to the iPhone later) exposed to WebOS, and then work their way up to a Pre
or Pixi (or whatever device is running it).

Maybe now that the iPad is out, Palm should skip a Touch-sized device, and just
do a tablet. Same idea...just larger.

plus the other big hook for the iTouch is iTunes media management.

What would be the hook for a phoneless Pre? Just Synergy and

Touchstone?

I mean *I* would like it - like a webOS PDA - but as Don said, I'd

want the built-in apps to be more fully baked and comparable to their

PalmOS counterparts.
