How do you like the Incredible? Last week I got a Pixi Plus for my wife, and I took a quick look at it...and although it was really fast (cuz of a Snapdragon processor, the rep said), I just couldn't get used to the UI. After using WebOS, it just wasn't as user-friendly and intuitive. How has your transition to it been, after WebOS?
I must have been there on launch day, cuz ALL of the VZW reps were all dressed in black, with black Incredible t-shirts on. It was quite a marketing/sales ordeal. VZW should have done the same with the Pre/Pixi on release day. Funny bit is...one of the reps was using his Pre, going on about how great it is, especially for newbies as well as techies. He was definitely into it i.e. overclocking, preware etc. On a recent Palmcast, they mentioned that something like two-thirds of the VZW reps are WebOS fans/users that "soft sell" it to people by simply talking about their own experiences. It does not run on the FreeBSD and Palm devices I've used over the years. Certain flavors of 64-bit Linux are now supported, but not the ones I have. And Flash is indeed responsible for bad behavior I've seen on Mac, so I enable it only selectively. Maybe it works well on Windows machines, but that's not where I live. Were I to meet Steve Jobs, I might very well dislike him. But I'm with him on this one. Flash is not a suitable foundation for an open, connected world.
