And it didn't work. But what did work, was a forced reload (hold Shf and
click the browser's refresh button).
It's not much less confusing, though. It seems the browser is
getting part of the information (the note) from cache and part (the
event name and time) from the updated server. When I forced the refresh,
it updated the note from the server.
Doesn't make sense, but it appears to work.
