I had a pre for 2 days. So not sure I can compare them equally. 

More apps, better designed phone. Speedier, larger screen. 

I didn't like the rubber keyboard on the Pre. I didn't like the lack of
removable storage. 

That's about, at least that I can think of now..

I picked up mine Friday Morning launch day and am still very happy with it. 

I had the HTC Hero before that for about 3 weeks, that being my first droid
phone, made the transition very easy.. 

Overall I am very very happy with my device.
