Love my EVO so far. Very FAST. Makes the Pre look like slow turtle.

Pros:

Good Messaging Enterprise Email from Motorola.

Fast

Camera

App access to the cam and speaker (So that Google Voicemail, YouMail,
etc don't have to use the loudspeaker) Shazzaam, BarCode reading. Etc.

DURABLE!!!!!! Can't stress this enough. The Pre was a fragile POS.

Very customizable GUI. No need for 'patches'

Have a mentioned SPEED? No longer waiting 10 minutes for Google Maps to
display a freaking map.

Cons:

No touchstone charging. I hate going back to using cords again :(
Although I'm thinking doing the modification to make it work with the
touchstone.

Adjusting to the lack of a physical keyboard. It's tough. I've been
using Palm keyboards since the Treo 600.

Multitasking was great on the Pre. Android still has it, but without
the awesome cards.

Gestures (Actually, don't miss this as much as I thought...)

I am on the list still because I work on the devices and like to keep in
the
loop.. I have used a 700p, 755p, 800w, Pre, Pro.

Oh. Sorry about that. I assumed since you were on the Pre/Treo list that
you were a Pre user. :-)

I had a pre for 2 days. So not sure I can compare them equally.

More apps, better designed phone. Speedier, larger screen.

I didn't like the rubber keyboard on the Pre. I didn't like the lack of
removable storage.

That's about, at least that I can think of now..

Are you saying that you prefer it over the Pre? If so, what does it do
better? What does the Pre do better?

I picked up mine Friday Morning launch day and am still very happy with
it.

I had the HTC Hero before that for about 3 weeks, that being my first
droid
phone, made the transition very easy..

Overall I am very very happy with my device.
