I've been running one of the kernels ("Warthog") at 1Ghz with compcache
enabled (16MB), using Govnuh screenstate 500mhz/1Ghz, and it's just super
fast, noticeably faster than the 800mhz uberkernel I ran for the last month
or two. When I turn it on and look at the CPU temp, it's often 28, once
even 27. In other words very cool. I haven't tried running a bunch of apps
at once, but with twee, govnuh, and email running, it seems perfectly fine
so far...
