That could work, but it also could lead to several emails and a 
cut-n-paste party to glue the additions/edits together. The beauty of 
EN, when it works, is that I can recall a note, edit it, and resync it, 
then move to another platform and work with the same note.
     Dependability-wise, for my purposes, EN has proven pretty useless, 
and if they're not going to support webOS, which is the platform I use, 
so be it.
      Actually, turns out the best replacement - for my purpose - is 
just to use the calendar note. It resides on my Pre, sync to Google when 
there's a connection and just hangs onto what it's got when there's not, 
and Google also syncs to Thunderbird/Lightning reliably.
      EN has a lot of good uses; syncing with my Pre just doesn't seem 
to be one of them.
