Clarity guys!
I struggle with this quite a bit. My physical eyes have found it difficult to separate the 2, they always seem very connected and magnetic to each other. I dutifully tell my children about the Lord and what He has done for me. Therefore they are able to stand before their enemies. (12th April 2009 Daily Affirmation) Combining the two verses and or chapters with the one below . Is it possible or does it become an absolute if you sow a seed and pray putting your faith on it. Remember what faith without works does. How do we then go about this. Do we sow a seed and pray that God and the spirit in them will show them the light or we sow a seed, pray and lead them the way. Are these choices together or are they separate and can they be separated if they are merged together. Proverbs 13:24 (New International Version) 24 He who spares the rod hates his son ,but he who loves him is careful to discipline him. Proverbs 23:14 (New International Version) 14 Punish him with the rod and save his soul from death. Pastor Tom has made it clear about our domains, where you can have dominion and where it submerges and emerges. I still wonder in prayer if you can have that kind of influencing dominion over a friendship or younger siblings. If they look up to us is it our right to lead them the way we would our kids.
