I remember when I was 16 and still a part of the Arena, Pastor Bruce Izzett once told us to decide beforehand whether we want to abstain from sexual immorality instead of trying to decide in the heat of the moment cause once chakutsva it's a done deal! If, for example, my dude has to drop me off last if we have each decided to maintain our purity there'll be no lingering hugs, etc. The problem comes cause we don't make these resolutions before the heat of the moment. And sometimes we do make these resolutions but we are not people of integrity and we lie to ourselves, our yes is not a yes, it could easily be turned to a no. Yesterday i was having a conversation with T1 about a book he was reading and he said God expects 3 things from a man -CONSISTENCY, DECISIVENESS AND STRENGTH and the basis of all Godly character is FAITHFULNESS!!!!!!!!!! Once you have decided to be pure stick to your decision and be consistent. and it takes strength to flee!!!!!!
