Deut 5:16 This is 1 commandment that has a condition tied to it. Unlike other commandments that just instructs us not to do certain things, this commandment actually gives a condition, 'that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.' We all have biological parents. Whether they took care of u or not, honour them. Whether they took responsibility for u or not, honour them. Whether u agree or differ in principles, they deserve ur honour. The most easiest way of frustrating ur progress as an individual is not to honour ur parents. Infact some carry hatred and bitterness for our parents and u find urself just going round in circles with no direction in ur life. Honour does not have to be financial. Just spending time with them is honour, listerning to their counsel whether u believe it or not is honour, acknowledging their role in ur life is honour.etc
