'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth the ability and the power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.' Deut 8:18 Wat is the first thing u think about when u get money? Chocolate, cake, clothes, shoes, a car, airtime, pizza, ur debts? Scripture says u shall remember the Lord. Therefore it is an instruction that any cash u have created, u shld remember the Lord ur God. How are with our tithing? How about our offerings, do we budget these or deciding wat to give depending on how 'powerfull' the offering message was? We ought to remember the Lord for he gives us the power to create wealth. It says further down that if u forget him and serve anything else other than him, u shall surely perish. Let us remember to honour him who gives us the ability to create wealth. Even by just saying thank u God wen u receive that financial blessing. Let us not be like those that say my power and the might of that hand hath gotten me this wealth but let us remember him who gives the power to create that wealth, lest we perish.
