IMHO, --nodeps/--force/etc cause more harm than they're worth. There
are a few instances where they're the right tool for the job (this
library's already installed, just not via rpm, so let me install this
app that needs it anyway) but they get used about 100x as often as
they really "should".
Again, IMHO, YMMV, etc.
