I am getting the following error in my system log: "kernel: i8253 count
too high! resetting..". I really do not know what this means. I searched
google and found a few things relating to timing so I thought it might
be a BIOS issue. I flashed my BIOS and I still get the error. I get it
less consistently but I still get it. I am running:

AMD 1300mhz Athelon
Asus A7A266 Motherboard

Red Hat 9.0
kernel 2.4.20-19.9

Anything anyone knows will help.

Thanks for the help!
