Here's the real "right" way to do it, IMNSHO: apt-get install postfix, or urpmi postfix, or yum install postfix rpm -e sendmail (or appropriate dpkg command for Debian) Then, edit /etc/postfix/main.cf And set masquerade_domains appropriately See the sample-rewrite.cf in the 'samples' docs directory for more on Postfix masquerading configuration. I haven't met a single person who has tried Postfix and not liked it over Sendmail. Sendmail has a lot of history, and has been at times a decent MTA. But there are very few reasons to still be running it in 2004. --Jeremy -- /---------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Jeremy Portzer [EMAIL PROTECTED] trilug.org/~jeremy | | GPG Fingerprint: 712D 77C7 AB2D 2130 989F E135 6F9F F7BC CC1A 7B92 | \---------------------------------------------------------------------/
