I don't advocate any flaming.  In fact, I am opposed to it as a
practice.  See the list archive for my message on flaming and my
thoughts on the phrase "RTFM."  The point I was trying to make only
applies minutely to this list anyway.

"A little rude" is a subjective phrase, and I don't think what Mike J
said was all that rude, despite the use of *F* in certain acronyms. 
That's why they're acronyms.  Despite the fact that our delivery may
not always be diplomatic, I value the opinions of all the people with
whom I butt heads.  Yes, virtual tempers flare here and there, but
it's the discourse that's important.  Let's just not forget that
there's a human being on the other end.  RFC's are more useful when
they're not used to compare human beings with protocols.
