I've got a copy of "PC Hardware in a Nutshell" from OReilly thats
reasonable or was when I bought it.  It looks like 3rd edition is the
current one and it was printed in July of 03.

Thats the problem with hardware books.  By the time they reach the
shelves, they're out of date.
