First of all, could someone remind me how to get ALSA to save its settings from one reboot to the next? All this tinkering with kernels and vmware and whatnot has led to a need to reboot fairly frequently, and it's pretty annoying that my sound service mutes itself each time..
Secondly, I'm running Debian Sarge, and almost all my fortune cookies are in Italian. Is there a quick and easy way to switch to English fortunes, or do I have to go through and remove all the Italian fortunes, find, download, and install English ones?
