You may want to call TWCable and see if they can make things right.  I 
went through the trouble of getting DSL only to have TWCable match the 
256k DSL rate ($29/m) when I called to cancel (gotta love being 
transferred to a "retention specialist").

I also had problems w/ DSL blocking port 25 connections (so I couldn't 
connect to my company mail server to send mail through).
