Hell did in fact freeze over today. Steve Jobs DID announce at the Apple Developer Conference today that Apple is switching from powerPC to Intel chips. Developers can get IntelMacs now, the first product will be out in about a year, and the transition will be complete by sometime in 2007.
It should be interesting to see what this announcement does to Apple, Intel, and IBM stock.
