I installed on a very old mac clone. I went through a few distribution
headaches
before finding mandrake.
the text install went fine. and I got X running later.
I did not have enough memory to do a graphical install.
Then, I found out it was about 50 bogomips. haven't booted it since.

Ya, different machine. This one is a beige box with a separate monitor.
