Perhaps.  One things I've noticed is that I have to police up any
false-negatives that get auto-learned as ham.  They poison SpamAssassins
bayesian filters and cause more spam to be down-scored.

You might consider restarting your basyes databases in SpamAssassin and
see what happens.
