I know this is a longshot but... Does anyone have any experience with importing SSL certs with z/OS? I have a mainframe client that is attempting to connect to my SSL FTP server and is having trouble importing and using my CACert SSL certificate. He has downloaded and installed the CACert Root Certificate and imported my server cert, but still get the error 'Unknown CA'. PC's at his location have no problem connecting and uploading files.
He is following the instructions located at: http://www-5.ibm.com/de/support/ecurep/ftp_cert.html We are totally out of ideas on why this will not work. SSL certs from Verisign work with his system and we think that is because the Root Certificate came pre-installed from IBM with the machine. I'd appreciate any ideas that you may have... Or, if you have any direct experience with this type activity I'd be glad to pay you a couple hours consult fee.
