ok, i was planning on useing something called handbrake (any other
suggestions?) says it rips from dvd strait to mpeg4. so there will be no
ripping of the dvd into faw fomat, and useing another program to compress
it... or so i think. my only concern to this is trying to do it with 512meg
of mem.
Depending on what program you use, the temporary ripped files can get as
large as the DVD (4.7 or 9.4GB)
