I tend to agree.  The problem is that I don't know (and can't seem to figure
out) how to contact that person to tell them about the problem.  Guess I'll
try again tomorrow.

no, then you won't have serivce till they figure it out.

this is a chronically misconfigured machine, whoever is in
charge of it doesn't know what they're doing. Verizon needs
to know you're unhappy about it.
