I found that the trinux dd liked it better when you used 
 the following format:
dd < /dev/ram > initrd.img

or whatever...either way, try the \"<\" and \">\" characters 
instead of \"if=\" and \"of=\"

/mnt/trinux\" in TrinuxHD.
