I found that the trinux dd liked it better when you used
the following format:
dd < /dev/ram > initrd.img
or whatever...either way, try the \"<\" and \">\" characters
instead of \"if=\" and \"of=\"
Quoting Jordi Haarman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

> dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/ram5 bs=1k count=4096
> mount /dev/fd0 /mnt Use \"mount /dev/hda1 /mnt\"
in TrinuxHD.
> cp /mnt/initrd.gz /usr Use \"cp
/mnt/trinux/initrd.gz /usr\" in
> TrinuxHD.
> gzip -d /usr/initrd.gz
> dd if=/usr/initrd of=/dev/ram5 bs=1k
> IMPORTANT: Write down now the number of blocks
copied!
> rm /usr/initrd.gz
> mkdir /usr/init
> mount /dev/ram5 /usr/init
> Now you have the original initrd filesystem in
/usr/init.

/mnt/trinux\" in TrinuxHD.
