Awesome stuff. Will be great to have. I'm hoping that the cardbus slot on my Thinkpad T61 will work.
I had previously gone out and bought a Linksys WPC300Nv2 wifi card which is on the FSF's list, but it seemed that Trisquel didn't support my cardbus slot. I also tried gNewSense and got the same thing there, tried a live version of Ubuntu 9.10 and that worked... Unfortunately I took the card back before testing with Ubuntu 9.04 to see if the support was perhaps just lacking from the Ubuntu version that Trisquel 3.0 is based on.
The cardbus slot is controlled by this chipset http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Ricoh_R5C843
Things like the SD-card slot which are also controlled by that chipset, work just fine, and I haven't been able to find anything online about the modules required for it using any firmware... ricoh_mmc, (mmc_core), sdhci, and sdhci_pci modules.
So I'm hoping that the next release will work, would really like to have wireless.
Anyway, can't wait. Testing out Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop with Intel 965 graphics card, I also noticed that I didn't get any tearing in videos which is really nice.
With the added work that is done in a Trisquel release, it should be near perfect.
