IceCat still updates versions without the PPAs. For major version updates,  
like 3.5 -> 3.6, that can wait between releases.

I've noticed a major bug where IceCat does not save your tabs after closing  
in 3.6. But in their bug mailing list, they've already found out the root of  
that problem, and it will probably be fixed by the 3.6.1 release.
