Thanks for the reply.Did the instructions as above but it will not update Gnash unless I remove the following:
browser-plug-in gnash mozilla-plugin-gnash swfdec-mozilla trisquel-desktop-common-recommended trisquel-gnome-base-recommended trisquel-recommended Are these safe to take out?
