I'd really like to know how customs managed to screw it up that badly. I just  
took a look at what it should have been. There should not have been any duty  
for a wifi card in Italy and the VAT should have been 21%. The VAT is high  
enough as it is that they don't need to charge more than the cost of the card  
itself. That was six times higher than the VAT should have been. The VAT  
should have been about €9.28.
