As far as I know, Trisquel 5.5 is based on the packages of Ubuntu 11.10 which  
is an STS version; so, for the LTS you'll have to wait for the 6.0 which will  
be based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and will probably be released around september  
around Software Freedom Day.
