Trisquel 5.5 "Brigantia" is based on Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" which is a  
Short-Term Support release. Trisquel 6.0 will be based on Ubuntu 12.04  
"Precise Pangolin" which will be a Long-Term Support release and is currently  
in development now. Every new Trisquel release is expected to be released  
around 5 months after upstreams. Bear in mind that these are not the final  
images and are experimental, so expect bugs.
