:) Trisquel always has a newer release. I'm actually pretty amazed gNewSense
is still around. I'm not sure why one would run this distribution over
Trisquel. Maybe geek cred or something? It's a lot more work and the security
issues would concern me. I can see some advantages in other distributions
with recent releases in comparison to Trisquel though. Particularly where
they are targeting a particular audience.
gNewSense was the project which got the ball rolling for a truly free
distribution.
I believe gNewSense also has a version or there is a derivative of it that
works on ARM. Maybe that is an advantage compared to Trisquel which is only
for x86.
