That's why free software needs to kill it. We need powerful, reliable alternatives to being always online, always indebted, always required to pay more to maintain what we already had. Free/Libre software is the only solution to this problem, and it's the way things should go. There will always be "rebels" on the outside who desire to give people freedom, rather than enslavement.
