I tend to agree with Mark Shuttleworth on this one. It is probably a better
idea to advertise the advantages of GNU/Linux than to disparage the
competition.
We're moving forward with marketing although are not doing the things you
might think. At least not yet. We're working with various projects on
marketing/business strategies. I guess you could say I'm the one working on
the business strategies and implementing the details although the lead
developers / project leadership need agree.
Spent about four hours this morning finishing up the details/implementations
for one such project. Hint: it's the largest user facing project out there.
That'll make the biggest impact to fixing the resource problem that we have.
Both for free software projects and ThinkPenguin. At least that is what I'm
hoping. If our relationship with the Trisquel project proved anything it was
our strategy is working. It just needs to be scaled a bit.
