[Trisquel-users] installing tikz-cd LaTeX package

Hey guys, I am very new to linux in general and I am hoping someone will be  
kind enough to give me a walkthrough on getting the tikz-cd package working  
for LaTeX.  I think the problem may be that the texlive version is from 2009  
and I have no clue how to get it up to date.  I do have pgf installed, and  
I'm using Trisquel 5.5 at the moment.  Any assistance would be greatly  
appreciated, sorry if I'm leaving out any key information.
