The funny thing is we started documenting this issue better @ ThinkPenguin in a wifi card guide. I should probably post this.

I think we are going to put something together to help users narrow down the selection of wifi cards that might work in there systems.

As a less automated example>

Is your computer a laptop?
   Go to A
   Else go to B

A) Is your computer an IBM, HP, Lenovo, Dell, or Toshiba?
   Yes, buy a USB wireless card, other cards may not work
   No, go to C

C) Was your computer built before 2005?
Yes, you can probably get a mini pci wireless card, remove the card and verify
   No, go to D

D) Was your computer built between 2005 and 2010?
Yes, you probably need to buy a mini pcie card, read documentation on removal to determine if this is correct
   No, go to E

E) Was your computer after 2010?
Yes, you probably need a half height mini pcie card, read documentation on removal and verify

B) Is your computer very slim?
Yes, you probably need a low profile pci or pcie card, check the documentation on removal and verify, No, you probably need a pcie card, check your documentation on removal and verify
