My personal concern is the control the Trisquel developers have over the repositories, akin to the app store. What's to keep them from leaving out a legitimate application they simply don't like?
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Gentoo, the logical extreme of this
problem. Building everything from source results in a horrendous installation
process.
