This might sound weird, but you might want to consider not distributing Gnash  
with it, or disabling Gnash by default. I'm sure a lot of Japanese cartoon  
fans watch at least some of them online, from various streaming websites.  
Most of them simply will not work without Flash, but a significant number of  
them have fallback HTML5/Javascript players that will be used if Flash is not  
detected.
