Re: [Trisquel-users] Why Ubuntu as the base for Trisquel?

My biggest fear here is Canonical's/Ubuntu's NIH syndrome, from unity to  
upstart to Mir. If the rest of the community sticks with standard desktops,  
systemd & Wayland, where will that leave Trisquel? I would rather see  
Trisquel follow the community than Ubuntu, but I have ZERO trust for  
Canonical.
