Specifically guideline 5:Non-Free software is never a solution so please do not rationalize, justify, or minimize the consequences of proposing non-free software as a solution.
I think that is a pretty clear statement. It's not that we don't want to help but that in the long-term, aiding in the installation of non-free software isn't helping.
