It worked! I logged out, then I noticed the new picture I chose as my account  
picture. I logged in again, then the bottom menu bar didn't show up, so I  
logged into tty2, then restarted the computer, then the bar showed up again.  
I don't know if that glitch had anything to do with the changed account  
picture, though.
