So all other internet apps work but not abrowser? Does it make a difference  
if you go in abrowser to prefs > advanced > network > settings and try do  
change your proxy to none or system settings.

If not, I thought I could figure out from that lsusb listing which one is  
your wireless USB thingy but I can't (or is it even listed?) If you run lsusb  
with the wireless adapter attached and detached, is there a difference? What  
is it?
