neat! but those commands adjusted my track *pad* sensititivity, not my track  
*point* sensitivity (y'know, the red nipple thing in the middle of the  
keyboard).

i see in "man synaptics" that it's possible to specify a device from my  
"/dev" directory, but i'm not sure how to determine which one is the  
trackpoint.
