[Trisquel-users] Wired connection not working

Hi all I'm going to move from ubuntu to this here trisquel. I booted from  
usb, wireless works fine but I prefer to keep that off and have my  
connections wired.
Ubuntu works fine with the wired connection but trisquel doesn't notice it at  
all.
I haven't installed it to the hard drive yet. I typed the MAC of the router  
into the wired connection field but that did nothing.

I'm very clueless so any help much appreciated.
